Shivaya is one of a small group of Transcription Mini’s. Each piece has a sewn and constructed 6” x 6” canvas cloth painting. The painted square is then stitched onto a textured 8” x 10” gallery wrapped canvas. These Mini’s were inspired by the close-up photos I’ve taken of paintings in the Transcriptions Series.

The focus of this Mini is on the popular Hindu mantra, Om Namah Shivaya. The text is in Sanskrit and the English transliteration.

The canvas is signed and dated on the side.
