Synchronicity is the 4th canvas in a series called Elements. Although this series was inspired by the pages of my concertina sketchbook, this is the first canvas to feel like it’s come right off one of those pages. I kept the application of paint light as I did in several of the sketchbook pages. This was going to be the last of a small series of 4 paintings. But after this one, the series continued.

The sides of the canvas are textured and painted to match the rest of the background. The signature and date appear on the side.
