Affirmations #1: Abundance was the first of the 12 Affirmations which were started together as a group. Prior to working on this one, my energy and focus were on working with canvas. So, I needed a shift in mindset to step into this new direction. That’s why this one has a different look and feel from those developed afterwards. I was just getting my feet wet with the series.
This piece began with the word, Abundance, and a related quote which has since become hidden beneath layers of paint. Although it was not my initial intention to develop the image with the word or quote in mind.
